Professor Jacobson is right
We are witnessing something that smacks of the kind of toadying fanaticism witnessed during the Chinese cultural revolution.
There was some serious toadying at the AFL match last night. Both teams and the umpires took a knee in support of BLM and the fans at home ripped them for it.
Tell me neither of the teams were Collingwood. That would be like the Oakland/LA/Oakland/LasVegas Raiders groveling - a horrifying thought. Theirs are fans they don't want to anger.
(When they were playing in Los Angeles, brawls in the stands were an expected part of the "experience".)
