"D.C. Police Are Now Under Federal Control".
Speaking from the White House Monday morning, President Donald Trump announced he is deploying the National Guard to the streets of Washington D.C. to restore law and order against "wild youths," "homeless" and "maniacs." The Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department is now under the command of Attorney General Pam Bondi and Home Rule has been invoked.
I suggest the homeless be redistributed among other blue towns and cities, perhaps Martha's Vineyard and Chicago.
Home Rule for DC was always idiotic. DC is a company town that exists for one reason only, and has no viability as an independent entity.

ReplyDeleteOne hilarious claim from the left is that Trump failed to mobilize the National Guard for the January 6th riot, which (once again) conveniently ignores the reality that Capitol Hill and the District of Columbia are two legally separate entities.
Trump offered the Guard, and both Mayor Bowers and Speaker Pelosi rejected it.
