I want one. My 06 looks similar so I have that. They don't make cars like they used to. The only car made before 73 I wouldn't want is the Bug, I'd even take a Dart with a slant-6 or a Gremlin.
Your mention of a Gremlin reminds me of another AMC car: the AMX. My friend's father who collected cars had one of those, loaded. It's the only one I ever saw, as I recall.

My mother's cousin had a Matador, it was one tough muscle car.
my wife had an early 70's dart with the bulletproof 6, sold it for $500 in the 80's and it's probably still going.
