Did the rebel Dems vote for the bill because they're ready to quit politics, or because they figure they're safe from their voter base?

ReplyDeleteIt's funny, but I don't remember anything on any day of the shutdown where I said "Dang, this government shutdown has caused me so many inconveniences. I can't wait till it's over!"

DeleteThe shutdown didn’t affect me personally, but I felt bad for the people who were having to work without pay. I learned a long time ago to build up a contingency fund, because you can’t count on the world to always to truck along as usual.
