The government shutdown ends.

"House Votes to End Schumer Shutdown, Passes Government Funding Bill 222-209".

I presume our property and lives are all fully at risk, again?

  3. Did the rebel Dems vote for the bill because they're ready to quit politics, or because they figure they're safe from their voter base?
    This inquiring mind wants to know.

  4. It's funny, but I don't remember anything on any day of the shutdown where I said "Dang, this government shutdown has caused me so many inconveniences. I can't wait till it's over!"

  5. The shutdown didn’t affect me personally, but I felt bad for the people who were having to work without pay. I learned a long time ago to build up a contingency fund, because you can’t count on the world to always to truck along as usual.
