Americans can handle hardship. We cannot handle insanity. This country has survived world wars, economic depressions, political violence and cultural upheaval. We adapted. We endured. We rebuilt. Hardship isn’t new to us. But widespread derangement will break us as a nation.

How long will a nation survive when its elite classes continually lie to it?

The latest lie is about how, after blowing up a drug runner's boat, the plane circled back and killed two survivors clinging to parts of the boat.

I watched 8 seconds of CBS news and saw them spreading that lie.
They might correct it, once, quietly.
So now when I say it's not true, I have to hear the 'both sides say the other is lying' crap that just pisses me off.
It's infuriating how easily our fine betters lie and ensure truth is drowned in lies.
