"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh

Looks like the Tucker Carlson Assembly of Conspiracy Cranks has signed up a new member
"The shot that Robinson took, if that was indeed how Charlie was killed, I don’t think it’s an easy shot."
What... huh? IF? Charlie's murder was on VIDEO, for God's sake! And what possible reason could Israel have for wanting Charlie Kirk killed? And even if they did, does this Kent character they would have been that sloppy about it? I think Joe Kent is either cynically generating publicity for himself or he's bugnutz crazy.
Pretty high up, Gregory. The National Counterterrorism Center director position is appointed by the President, and confirmed by the Senate.
Apparently Kent hid his beliefs quite well, if he made it through that process. Assuming that the donks hid what they really knew, of course.
He ran for Congress twice, in a district that has a fairly large conservative base. I lived in the same state, just in a different part, and never heard anything like this, but maybe his would-be constituents knew better? I don't know.
It's relevant to point out that Tucker Carlson went bugnutz crazy (publicly, anywho) only in the past year or two. Candace Owens went off the rails earlier than that.
Creeping mental illness? Long dormant conspiracy? Both? I can only shake my head.
I will note one thing about Carlson: he seems to have adopted a posture of extreme puritanical moralism, and has come to see Muslim societies as exemplars of his (very select) purist outlook. He's willing to overlook an awful lot in return for clean streets and what he calls "order".

DeleteFIFY :-)
Nailed it, r-man. These days, embracing the power of AND is a safe bet.
DeleteThe problem with conspiracy theories is that some of them tend to be true ....
How high exactly did Joe Kent get in the hierarchy? He's coming across as a total loon, and I am curious as to how this wasn't spotted way back.

Interesting. Thanks, Jeff.
Delete"There's something in the water" is an old trope, but at this stage I'm baffled as to what else it could be.

ReplyDeleteYes, Tucker makes the old Pilgrims look like sadistic hedonists.
