At the very least, he's probably one of the few Democrats who can credibly pass as moderate, these days.
Oh, btw, the idiot donk governor of my state issued a proclamation celebrating Ramadan and "commend[ed] its observance to all residents."
I'll be waiting to see Governor Stein's proclamation on Easter, and his commending the observance of same to all residents.

He talks a good game but bones us every chance he gets.
Fetterman generally goes along with the Democratic Caucus, but he does buck leadership on certain high-profile issues; so, Rand Paul is a good analogy. The difference, from a purely partisan position, is that Fetterman's typically helping Trump on some of these high-profile issues, whereas Paul is hurting him.
