"What This Kansas Democrat Posted Was Unbelievable...Almost".
Noah Taylor, a Democrat running for the U.S. Senate seat in Kansas, posted to social media on Friday that he and his wife deliberated over calling life saving emergency services for his seemingly dying son because they were afraid of how much money it might cost them.
Whew! It's pretty clear that Noah and the missus haven't been thinking about vacation plans lately; if this had turned into a faceoff between the kid and a European river cruise, I think he may have lost out.
Looks like Smith is a politician (spit) to his core. He actually thought using this family emergency to make a point about affordability was a good thing, and it never occurred to him that normal people would think “Hospital first, we’ll worry about the expense later.”
