Public service video

Personally, I'd rather carry a sidearm; why give them any edge at all?

  1. I agree.
We got most of the way to the top of the food chain using a pointy stick.
I see no reason to voluntarily work our way down now that pointy sticks are obsolete.
Sure, you might beat those animals mano a clawo, but it's much more likely if you shoot them from at least 10 yards with a suitably heavy caliber.

  2. I shared this with my niece, who manages a game farm, suggesting this as a safety video.

None of the animals in the video are there, but you never know!

  3. Still got my doubts about sitting on a wolverine.

My father put himself through college through scholarships and working in the fields for Bird's Eye. He told me of one time he rounded a row of pea plants with his pea pole over his shoulder (I dunno, apparently some sort of pole used in harvesting peas).

He came face to face with a badger. He reflexively whacked it with the pole. Big mistake. He now has an angry badger trying to kill him. He pounded it repeatedly with the pole, and the pole kept breaking and we was worried he'd run out of pole before he ran out of badger.

Eventually he was standing over one dead badger, holding about eighteen inches of shattered pea pole.

    2. Looks like that pole was just long enough!

Is one of them a duck? Cause pretty sure I could take down a duck.

We're allowed to sneak up on them, right?
