The government's relation to the native-born people of Belfast (and the UK, at large)

  1. Personally, I think the rest of Europe should take a page out of the Irish playbook.

  2. The Irish - or their politicians, at any rate - have gone a long way down the road to wokedom; however, centuries of struggle and oppression have given the Irish people a deeply ingrained rebellious spirit. Not a good country for Muslim immigrants to start throwing their weight around. I mean, for God's sake, the Irish kill their own, why would they stop at going after outsiders?

    1. Killing outsiders is the usual reason they stop killing each other.
The Troubles, were killing Irish who were 'others', so win-win.

    2. From what I'm reading, Sinn Féin (Catholic) is the woke element in Northern Ireland, whereas the Protestants are not. Or at least, not as much.

Sinn Féin is a major element of the Northern Ireland government, but does not dominate it ... and can't, if I understand the power sharing there correctly.

I don't know about the other politicians, though.
