Happy Feet Friday

Another version of “Night Train”, by the guy who recorded the original hit back in 1951. Jimmy Forrest reprises the number, backed by Count Basie and his orchestra.

Wow. My dad taught me to dance to that song, along with some Patsy Cline. In the 60s, I had a little baby-blue portable record player, and I had a 45 vinyl single of "Night Train" (can't remember by whom now). My dad loved that song, and so did I.

The only thing is, it's such a catchy tune, it gets stuck in my head. But I like it, so I don't mind.

Somewhere in DC tonight, Paco's boss is spilling his $35 drink as he cheers Harry Reid wrapping Nancy Pelosi's stockings around his face after she shed them during a rendition of... Night Train.
