Washington massacre

12 people are reported dead in a shootout at the Washington Navy Yard. One suspect is dead, and there may be two more shooters on the loose.

God have mercy on the souls of the fallen, and comfort their families, and may the guilty be apprehended and justice be done.

Yet another perp who sorta looks like what the president's son woulda looked like (if he had one).

Deborah.... Thankfully the scum has been exterminated.

Paco, you stated my sentiments perfectly. God be with them all.

To paraphrase the old saying,"What a difference a few years makes." Barry has ordered flags lowered across the nation, and is playing the "compassionate" president. Remember his reaction to the massacre at Fort Hood? Barry Baloney.

At this end of the day more detail has emerged about the shooter. A man with a history of dangerous behaviour.
And yet he had clearance. A security pass. Did they forget the background check, or did someone just fail to give a damn?

I'm going with Gregory's second option.

Hey, chill, y'all. It ain't like he was a threat to the nation like a Tea Party member. THOSE people run around with calculators figuring out if things are affordable or not. They believe in staying within a budget and not spending more than their income (shudder).

Show of hands here. How many of you were completely offended by Barry's self-laudatory speech of economic lies/Republican bashing during this time of grief for the people who had lost family members and others that didn't know if family members had survived or not?

Sorry, Swampie, I am far past being offended by anything the metrosexual Mugabe (h/t our host) does any more.

Whatever he's up to, I always assume it will be the worst possible course of action. That way, from time to time I am pleasantly surprised.

Well, I wasn't surprised, but I continue to be offended - and po'd that our country has allowed a political powder-puff and intellectual lightweight like Obama to do so much damage. It's like being bullied by Urkel.
