She was a major 'influencer' of our time. Unforgettable.
Did not realise she was born so soon after WW1, but it didn't matter in our day. In facte she was a symbol of 'the younger generation' for many generations! Which does not fit the current narrative. Great voice of course.
Yeah Bruce, a great voice and very easy to look at. When Doris was in her twenties and I was a horny teenager, I used to dream that I was her somebody to hug, a bug in a rug, to snuggle up close to.
