You just never know when you might need one.

  1. An interesting test ... ... I expect a lot of milk testers had acid burns on their hands. I flinched a couple of times during the demonstration. That concentration of sulfuric acid is no joke.

  2. Unrelated, but I'm all excited.
I have a Martini/Henry, brought back from Afghanistan.(I feel for the Brit soldier who lost it in the 1870s) that I bought in VA 20 years ago.
Ammo is hard to find and more than $20/round when you can find it.
I was looking for ammo and saw an adapter that fits in the chamber and you can fire .45acp.
I just hope it doesn't blow up the gun.

    1. Ask a friend at the range to fire it first.

I wish you joy of your discovery. Isn't that the same rifle that the British soldiers used in the movie Zulu?

  3. They're the ones they should have used.
As I recall, they used Enfields in the movie.
Cuz movie folks know jack and squat about guns.
I'll invite a guy I don't like and let him fire it.
I have 50 or so rounds of .450/577, so if it blow up, I'll make bank selling the ammo.
