"Trump Makes South African President Watch Video Evidence of Threats to White Farmers".
As one would expect, President Ramaphosa's campaign against the Boer is at least partly for the purpose of deflecting attention from his own corruption and the total dog's breakfast the African National Congress has made of the South African Economy.
As astonishing as that is, watch for the exploding heads in the media tomorrow. Can you imagine what the talking heads on MSNBC will make of this? Or how will the "ladies" of The View act?
ReplyDeleteGonna be some fireworks.
I can hear the complaints already, how Trump “disrespected” the leader of a country, and was mean to him. Trump didn’t show those video clips to educate Ramapoopy, who already knows the truth. He showed them to the idiots of the world so they can’t deny the truth.
ReplyDeleteRebecca, the morning news lived down to your expectations. The word 'unfounded' was used, and the general tone was 'Trump was being a jerk with a visitor again'.
DeleteOh, I'm sure all the usual suspects will play the "race card" and the "respect card". The truth is, this Ramaphosa is a crook and a supporter of genocide, his position as president notwithstanding. Trump's just telling it like it is, and defying the professionals whose specialty is telling it like it ain't.
ReplyDeleteWell we have at least 200k South African born migrants in Australia and I'm glad they're here, they make good 'new Australians'. Add their children born here and the number could be a half-million, growing very fast. A few are Afrikaaners, but they are mostly 'English' of the former British colony. Note Trump says Australia is 'inundated' with them but that's not how we see it. They brought in a lot of wealth and are very self-sufficient.
ReplyDeleteAustralia is the size of the US but with less than one tenth of the population, we obviously need more people. Yes most of our land is desert, but look at say how Israel made the desert livable. The more motivated migrants we bring in the more likely that will happen, the more our petty complaints will be swallowed by a new dynamism, sadly lacking at present.
DeleteYes most of our land is desert...
DeleteStop right there, Bruce. I'm sold!
The latest media talking point is that Trump "ambushed" the SA president....
