"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Outstanding duet. Listened to it many times. Elena Garanca's "Habenara" from "Carmen" is also one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to listen to that! Thanks for the tip.
DeleteJust listened to it, Dave. Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big opera fan, but I do love me a nice soprano. The tangerine in her cleavage was a nice touch as well.
DeleteI had to look up what a "barcarolle" is, but I agree, an excellent duet!
ReplyDelete"Barcarolle"? I think grandma Paco used to bake those for Sunday dinner.
ReplyDeleteSouthern Italian cuisine!
