"Federal audit finds North Carolina illegally issued trucking licenses".
The U.S. Department of Transportation found that more than half of trucking licenses issued to immigrants in North Carolina were given illegally, according to a federal report.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said 54% of the 50 trucking licenses analyzed in a federal audit were issued illegally. The review found some drivers were ineligible to have the license and others not in the country were given licenses. Other drivers received licenses without North Carolina first verifying their lawful presence in the U.S., the review found.
This is just one rung above throwing the licenses from the window of a moving car. Or did they try that already?
ReplyDeleteThere's no profit in that, Gregory, so I doubt they've tried.
DeleteBut, hey!, I could be wrong.
Gregory, that's about right. We've got enough native-born crazy drivers, we don't need to import more.
DeleteI bet you anything that the licenses issued to people not even in the country were sold to illegals for big bucks.
ReplyDeleteVery likely, I'd say.
