I want a second opinion
Well, it looks like that obnoxious groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, has - once again - seen his shadow, which supposedly means six more weeks of winter. Not likin' it.
It was cloudy here, so he wouldn't have seen his shadow and we'll have an early spring. I figure by next week it will be 70 degrees and sunny, and the 10 inches of snow will be gone.
Why should I think that a ground hog knows more than I do about the weather? :-)
This winter has been really harsh, but is it just a normal cyclical thing? Is it because of all the volcanic activity lately spewing particles into the air? It could last a while longer, but then again we could have an early spring and a really hot summer. Or maybe a cooler than average summer. The thing is, nobody knows.
