Has Pope Leo met with King Charles?

I'm sure they would get along swimmingly, since they have so much in common. For example, a strange affection for Islam: "In Algeria, Pope Leo Hails the ‘Rich Diversity’ of Christians and Muslims".

I would say, as a rule, that ignoring or sugar-coating reality is not a good foundation for building a genuinely peaceful world. That is this layman's two cents worth.

  1. That is this layman's two cents worth.

    Paco, 2¢ from you is far more valuable than a couple million bucks from either of those fools.

    1. Well, that exchange rate seems a might inflated, but I thank you nonetheless.

  2. Pope Leo has lost his damn mind. Does his “rich diversity” include 1,400 years of warring and destroying the many Christian kingdoms in the Middle East?

  3. I remember in 2016, Pope Francis took 12 Syrian refugees, including six children, back to Rome with him on the papal plane following his visit to a refugee camp on the Greek island of Lesbos; they were 3 muslim families;
    I had hoped they would have been Catholics, or Christians of some sort;
    the Vatican settled them in Rome and the Rome-based Community of Sant'Egidio providing initial care for a time; it was reported that they, eventually were self sustaining;
    maybe Leo will do it for some persecuted Christians.
