"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Yeah, no way I'm EVER doing that. I'll stick with those long range spray cans, thankyouverymuch!
ReplyDeleteI had to know, why would you want to harvest those nests? According to my favorite search engine, the larvae are considered a delicacy in some parts of the world, and are high in protein as well.
Yeah, no. I prefer beef, pork, or chicken.
The larvae probably taste like chicken.
DeleteI can buy chicken at the supermarket with very little risk of bodily harm.
Whatever price they put on those hornetty treats, it can't be enough.
DeleteIt's like Willard but with wasps.
ReplyDeleteThe first person ever to go to the trouble of obtaining a hornet larva, and then actually eating it, must have been mighty hungry.
ReplyDeleteAt least they had hunger as an incentive, but how do you explain the first person to smoke? "I bet it would be great to light this tobacco weed on fire, and inhale the smoke deep into my lungs!"
Deletecough cough gag hack gag spit gag
"Yeah, that was great, let's do it again!"
