The victory of a freak like James Talarico in Texas comes close to representing the death rattle of our Republic, to me. Davy Crockett should have just said "the hell with this" and gone back to Tennessee.

It's a small consolation, but the donks got stomped in my county. Quite a relief, since signs for some of the local Democrat candidates outnumbered signs for their Republican opponents by probably 10 to 1. Of course, that weasel Roy Cooper got elected to the U.S. Senate (he did lose in Brunswick County, though).
Oddly enough, I've been eyeing a certain close quarters battle rifle....

I never thought I’d live to see the day Texas would go Democrat again. I hope they enjoy Drag Queen Night in the governor’s mansion. At least until the caliphate takes over. They prefer their version of drag queens to be 11 or 12 years old.
