On top of everything else...
...radical Democrat candidate for the senate from Michigan, Abdul El-Sayed, has daddy issues.
If you listen carefully it’s a misplaced anger at his own parents for not making him feel worthy that turned into raging jealousy of other children who had parents that lifted them up and poured into them. He’s projected all of that onto white people. He needs to mend his heart before thinking about running for any office. White ppl haven’t hurt him. He knows exactly who did. Notice how he doesn’t get the satisfaction he was craving when the interviewer simply anchors himself & doesn’t validate that experience. We should all do more of this. Don’t validate anyone’s experience for the sake of temporary bonding.

Old times there are not forgotten
From the ages of four to six, I lived in North Wilkesboro, NC, where Old Paco was stationed as a revenooer. Wilkes County was then known as the moonshine capital of the world; in fact, the late, great Junior Johnson was from Wilkes County and it was there that he was arrested at his father's still. I recollect my father telling us not to mention to our friends what he did for a living, because it was a very tight little community and if you weren't making whiskey or drinking it, you were probably related to somebody who was doing one or the other or both.
Most of the old moonshining families eventually moved on to other pursuits, some legit, some not (e.g., marijuana cultivation largely replaced the whisky business, particularly as the price of sugar kept rising). But I was tickled to see that one old fellow is - or was - trying to keep the tradition alive: "North Wilkesboro man charged after explosion leads firefighters to active moonshine operation".
Junior Johnson was eventually pardoned by President Ronald Reagan. I confess that I hope the government will treat Billy Ray Anderson with leniency.
Billy Ray. Perfect.

Carry on
Offline for the next few days. Proceed using dead reckoning.
Meanwhile, here's a few items to chew on.
I don't believe I ever saw this version.
Savagery
Leftists are either blind to it or - worse - they actually embrace it. "French Rioters and Their Rap Song Praising Muslim Murderers".

Hoppin' mad
Or should it be " 'oppin' mad"? Kangaroos pose bigger risks to people and property than I thought.

Funny how one thing jogs your memory about another thing that is unrelated
"Thom Tillis Is Reminding People Why He Doesn't Deserve Another Term As a US Senator".
Just seeing Tillis's name reminded me of a story I read years ago. Some fellow in, I believe, the Netherlands arrived home after a night out and discovered that he had lost his house keys. He tried to get through the dog door, but got stuck. Two merry fellows happened along, saw the man's plight and - pulled his pants down, painted his butt blue and stuck a daffodil into his crack.
I have no idea why this came to mind when contemplating Tillis. Wishful thinking, I suppose.
And he survived?
"Illegal Alien Responsible for Beheading Beloved Iwo Jima Statue".
The statue in question stands near one entrance to Marine Base Quantico and is a short walk from the National Museum of the Marine Corps.
Vote Democrat and we'll be seeing much more of this, and what's happening in France will begin happening here, too (actually, it began here a long time ago, but has been somewhat sporadic; we must not let it become a constant, daily menace).
