The Alien President

We must surely be reaching the point where any person possessing at least a modicum of reason and education (and intellectual honesty) must admit, even if only to himself, that Barack Obama’s view of America - past, present and future – is utterly alien to the view of our country held by a majority of our own citizens (including many who voted for Obama). Every key position, every key decision - the hostility to capitalism, the mortgaging of our future via huge budget deficits, the Edith Bunker school of witless and non-discriminating niceness applied to foreign policy, the appointees in the Department of Justice (!) who have no respect for the law, the permanent campaigning, the advocacy of “Al-pocalypse” environmental theories – reveals Obama’s contempt for America and its traditions of individual liberty and limited government.

I am not a “birth certificate truther”; I am perfectly willing to accept that Obama is a natural-born U.S. citizen. However, with respect to his thoughts and his philosophy and his worldview, he might as well have been born in Sweden or Venezuela or Chad. Never have I seen a president over whom the history – the reality - of America has washed to so little effect. To Obama, the United States is not a country with over 230 years of organic political development that, partly through trial and error and partly through adherence to right reason and the lessons of history, has created a society that is the envy of the world. It is just a great, blank blackboard on which he can chalk his sophomoric wish list.

Many still say, “Give him a chance.” The electorate gave him his chance more than four months ago, and in that short time he has squandered it almost irredeemably. The most charitable thing we can do – not only for our country’s sake, but for the president’s – is to criticize Obama relentlessly when he is wrong, in the hope that he will see the dangerous folly of his policies. And if he does not alter his course, then that criticism will lay the foundation for his ultimate removal at the ballot box.

I have quoted this line from Auberon Waugh before, but it bears repeating: “There are countless horrible things happening all over the country, and horrible people prospering but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible.” In this time of political insanity, that shall stand as the motto of Paco Enterprises.

(Cross-posted at...er... a blog the name of which I can't repeat here, because of the family-oriented atmosphere of Paco Enterprises. It is, naturally, the brainchild of the irrepressible Robert Stacy McCain.)

I'm with you, Paco. Obama is driving this country straight into the ground with his plan to re-define us as socialist. The deficit laden budget (even larger than the Bush budget that the Dhimmicrats criticized) is but the latest example.

You might add just plain veracity to that list as most of these people know full well what they are doing.

Look most of these people don't give a rip about our traditions, the Constitution or anything else. We have evolved and progressed since the founding of the country. They really consider this an outmoded document written by out of touch people in a far too distant past.

Transnationalism is really incompatible with liberty and private property, per se, as is any recognition of what this country has done for the world.

Transnationalism is another way of saying "socialism without borders", Yojimbo. But you are spot on.

"socialism without borders" HEH!

Stupidity knows no bounds. This is the problem when you use the static economy model as your standoff weapon of choice. When you believe that every dollar I make is a dollar taken out of the pocket of someone else. Once you adopt this worldview all of the rest just fits into place.

I was one of those who did that. But after watching him stoop low enough to nearly kiss the feet of the Saudi king, on top of all the other crappy crapweasel crap he's pulled, I'm done with giving him a chance. The man is a [deleted] fool, a liar, and a [deleted] commie, and I'll never have another thing to say about him that's as nice as what I just said.

The Founding Fathers must be spinning in their graves.

While he's bending over to blow the King of Saudi Arabia, he can my ass as long as he's down there.

Count me in with the I'm done giving him chances crowd. Have you read about the details of his meeting with the bank CEOs that are trickling out? I watched CNBC do interviews with some of the bankers at the White House as they came out of the meeting and it didn't take much reading between the lines to conclude that the meeting wasn't terribly friendly. The guy is power drunk, and kissing up to the wrong people while seeing fellow Americans as enemies.

Retread: From what I've been reading, Jug Head told bankers that only his administration stood between them and the pitchforks. Supreme arrogance.

HEY! Him standing between the bankers and the pitchforks works GREAT for me!

Now, where's my sh**-pitching pitchfork .....

We in Oz are also being led by an alien towards socialism and worse.
Although he claims to be born in Nambour, (within the territory defined by Paco Enterprises South Seas title deeds), our Dear Leader's inner self is too scary for us to believe he is a terrestrial.
There have been a number of instances this week where we have seen glimpses of the alien inside the latex man-skin, as the enraged inner creature has broken through the thin veneer.
But our MSM moves on quickly past these glimpses of the truth, and continues to support and enhance the alien's 74% popularity ratings.
That is why, Paco, your continued observance of our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible is to be commended.
And the same goes for the rest of this wonderful network of bloggers.

Skeeter: I've been reading over at Tim's about the "Rudd Baron" and his bizarre behavior toward RAAF personnel. Is he...you know...losing it?

Skeeter said...

Paco, there is much evidence in the blogs that, if he ever had it, he "lost it" long before he became a member of Parliament. It is only recently that his losses started to emerge in the MSM.
There are links to MSM sources in Tim's posts, Bill of Rights, The Butler Did It, and Rudd Stunned , all of which appear just below your linked post.

The Courier Mail article about the butler begins;
PRIME Minister Kevin Rudd's short fuse and unreasonable demands have triggered an exodus of personal staff and a backlash from public servants.
His staff turnover is about to reach 16, or one a month since winning office, with the latest casualty being $78,000-a-year former butler John Fisher...

The importance of this article is that long time lefty defender, Laurie Oakes, has his name included in the by-line. Until this week, Oakes has been known for his sickeningly fawning interviews of Rudd, but has suddenly appeared in various MSM across the country with scathing comment against Rudd.
This change of attitude by Oakes could signal that there may be much worse to come for our Dear Leader.

TW: pronsess
A popular pet name, spoken through pursed lips, for our PM

He may be some alien being but, if so, he is not alone!
They litigate amongst you.
