Barack Obama, Name Dropper

The Preshizzle would have us believe that he has friends in high places.

I can never post comments at Richard's place, so I have to post it here:

Richard, why would you think that Jesus packs a Winchester? While the lever action rifle is a fine weapon indeed, I suspect that He would prefer something more modern, perhaps this.

If you insist on a classic, then I suggest this.

Call yourself a rightwing extremist with skill sets?m That's a Henry.

Jeff, you should get a drop-down menu next to the comment-as button that should let you post without an account.

And remember, the New Testatment hadn't even been written yet when Jesus was around; he was still kickin' it old school.

God and Obama do have something in common-neither has a birth certificate.

There are differences. God doesn't think he is Obama. The other difference-liberals love Obama.

From El Rushbo today.

OK, OK, Richard, it's a Henry! I'm better on 20th century firearms, anywho.

And I still think Jesus ought to pack modern firepower; tain't nothing wrong with a Thompson.

As to commenting....for whatever reason, whenever I post with Firefox, the comment never takes. Can't say why. When I use Explorer, it just goes bonkers. I guess I'm cursed.

JeffS -- ya think Jesus ever needs to reload?

Try Google Chrome for a browser. It works pretty well for me and it will import all your FireFox settings.

JeffS, you can comment anonymously and just sign your name in the body of the comment. I've had to do that a couple of times, when my Google account was having gut spasms. I figure nothing gets in the way of my bloviating. ;-)

Sorry, Rebecca, but that doesn't work either. I've no idea as to why this is so. It's quite annoying.

Richard, after wine into water, bullets from the air shouldn't be a problem. I'm thinking of (a) rate of fire, and (b) the coolness factor. Sorry, but a Henry just doesn't match up against a Thompson. Did you ever see John Wayne carry a Henry in any of his war movies?

Hey, Mark Harmon shot down a frigging Apache with a Henry on NCIS! It was on TV, man, so you know it has to be true!

The Henry was a mere popgun; the Martini-Henry was more than a fine tipple.
