Department of One Hand Washing the Other
Mary Easley has been fired from a $170,000-a-year job with NC State University. It appears that she got the position through the able assistance of her husband, former Democratic governor, Mike Easley, in violation of the normal university job-search guidelines. At least two other NC State officials, including the Chancellor, James L. Oblinger, have resigned in the wake of the scandal.

Try the hospital system, worked well for the Obamas. The pay was better as well. Better for your self-esteem since you may find that you are so indespensible that they won't even fill your job after you leave.

ReplyDeleteTime for elected officials to serve for free. Or maybe for minimum wage.....with no pay raises authorized. You want public service? Time to serve!
I fear, someday, a new Edward Gibbon will come forth and write "The Decline and Fall of America".
