Forget about going "John Galt." At this rate, we'll all be going "Joad family."
Update: A special thanks to those eight Republicans who made the margin of difference in the passage of this horrible bill.

Pray to whatever god you own that the Senate kills the bill.
ReplyDeleteHere is a link to the roll call vote:

I sent a blunt little note to Jim Moran (VA-8).
ReplyDeleteI am in awe that the Mike Foxtrotting HR2454 didn't even exist when passed.
But, thinking down the road to another blogger gathering, I see you've planted a suggestion for Hard Times Cafe, sir. Good show!
This whole GW scam is now the equivlent of a game of "global government chicken". Each country wants to be in the game, but no-one wants to be out in front, the cliff is just a little to close...
ReplyDeleteAll the statist scum want the enormous tax revenuse it will bring in to remodel society as they wish it to be, bugger any other reason.
Frollicking Mole: "revenuse" is a typo, but I love it! "Money thrown away." (Did you do that on purpose?)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link Isophorene. I sent a rather long note to my congresscritter scolding him for voting in favor of this disgraceful bill (against my advice tendered by email a few days ago). I also scolded him for the manner of presenting the bill, so that he will know that at least one constituent knows that he is acting as Obama's and Pelosi's rubber stamp and not as a legislator. I suppose the tone of my email will put him off listening to me, but he doesn't listen to me anyway, so I might as well tell him what I think. Maybe some of it will penetrate his think skull one day.
ReplyDeleteMichael: I think it's time to break out that orbiting weather machine Wronwright keeps talking about.
ReplyDeleteWeather machine, smeather smachine, Paco. Break out the orbital lasers instead.
