As a science, Psychology has argued itself out of existence. It is no more objective than literary criticism. Its academic field is now fully covered by Neurology (plus Ethology) so it has no reason to exist independent of that more rigorous (falsifiable) study. It should have been dumped in the same bin as Phrenology except that, excuse me here ladies, the hordes of chicks invading academia all want to do Psych101 to find out how their boyfriends think.

To clarify - or dig myself in a bit deeper perhaps - as some movies are chick flicks, Psych is 'chick science'.

Truer words are seldom spoke, Bruce.

Says a (former) chick who thought exactly that way about 40 years ago, but has had the distinct pleasure of growing up since then.
