A member of the professional political class is horrified when average private citizens interject themselves into the political process, why am I not surprised. The professionals still don't know how to handle honest dissent since they are only used to the contrived professional protest mobs.
ReplyDeleteRush never called Obama a Nazi. What he did do was compare the Obamacare scheme with the National Socialism scheme that came into being in the 1930s, and that's all.
His point was that a national healthcare system is the quickest way to total societal control and he used the German plan as a historical example.
In point of fact Rush doesn't think that Obama is a Hitler type because he harbors no genocidal tendencies.
What makes me angriest of all is not Obamacare, or any of the other anti-capitalist crap they're pushing (although they're bad enough). It's that these people actually believe that the American people speaking up to disagree is "destructive to democracy" and "unacceptable", and that they are labeling ordinary citizens as subversive for speaking their minds. I knew we generally elected smooth-talking idiots to public office, but I had no idea it was this bad. We need to get serious and seriously clean house through the next three election cycles at least.
