The Judas Factor
Left-wing religious groups are coming out for Obama Care, apparently under the impression that Our Lord's call for charity was, in reality, an appeal to Caesar for a single-payer program (H/T: friend and commenter K).
Smitty: As I've written elsewhere, these are the sort of people who see Christianity as being primarily an international social welfare cult, with Jesus Christ serving merely as Chairman, emeritus.
Whoa, wait a second. Judas? Didn't he regret his betrayl of Jesus (in some narratives anyway)? These left-wing religious clowns won't suffer an instant of remorse for their part in Obamacare; they'll celebrate it as an act of contrition for the past sins of Man.
You have to understand Progressivism as a religion to make sense of the chasm where reasoned debate should go.
