Hey, You Know What? We'd Be a Whole Lot Better Off With More Mayflies and Fewer Jobs
The EPA, and other federal environmental agencies, have been pulling this crap for years. Farmers along some rivers lose their irrigation water to protect minor fish species. Loggers are shut down, even through they are miles from any fish spawning areas. Of late, the National Marines Fisheries Service has been influencing building codes along the Puget Sound because of the salmon population.
But protecting the mayfly? A blatant abuse of power.
Our budding rival China builds a coal-fired power plant every week to power job creation; we trade jobs for bugs. Is this the "change" President Obama had in mind?
