Maybe Protecting the Innocent Has Something to Do With Putting People in Prison
The always excellent Theodore Dalrymple holds forth on the inherent value of indignation, the intellectual imposture of modern philosophes, and the main purpose of prisons.
Dalrymple, as always, gets to the heart of the matter and makes it plain.
