Digging Out

The snow is still piled up about a foot and a half in my neck of the woods, but I've been able to at least clear the driveway. The problem was, when I got to the end of the driveway, I saw that I was going to have to dig another twelve feet through the drifts to make a path to the center of the street where a few daring souls in 4WD vehicles had managed to pack the snow down a bit and make the street more or less drivable.

A commenter at Tim Blair's asked to see a picture of Mabel, the official dog of Paco Enterprises, frolicking in the snow. Here she is - not frolicking, exactly, but surveying her domain.

BTW, Tim Blair has evidence that the global warming protests have now reached the zenith of asininity.

  1. Some of the Pacoistas, especially on the west coast, think you just put too much detergent in the washing machine. C'mon Paco where is the picture of Marilyn Chambers in your yard? Come clean on this issue.

Glad to see your like "nonessential"!:)

  2. Well, I have to admit that I thought you used one jug of laundry detergent per wash, but I found out that ain't right.

  4. Richard: Truer than you think! I had to slog through the snow on the side of the house before she finally found a spot to her liking.

  5. Paco, it's a little suds 'll do ya. Certainly looks like the white stuff is up to your neck in those woods. Poor puppy. She's trying to figure out where her yard went, as well as figuring if you are to blame for it or not.

Why on Earth are you shoveling? Is the snow blower snowed in, or is the Paco Enterprises Fitness Program? The way it is going you should look like Mr. Universe by Spring. Where are those neighborhood boys who used to shovel? I heard that you're supposed to get another heaping helping just in time for Christmas day. Good luck!

  6. Deborah: I saw some kid walking up the street with a shovel this morning; he took one look and went home.

Paco Enterprises' patented "Snow-miser" iced up after a few minutes. Probably somebody dropped it when they were loading it onto the truck at the factory in Haiti.
