What an absolute waste of good souls. Makes me root for the concept of reincarnation so the leaders and the enablers who cause these things can comeback as perpetual renewable targets at a Marine heavy weapons gunnery range. Add in all the intelectual numbskulls who don't want to learn from the lessons of history and come up with the we are the world agreements that give rise to future wars. Don't get me started.

Men like that illustrate how shameful the present leadership is.

these men were the epitome of the definition of hero, the stuff the american soldier was and for the most part still is made of. it is a shame it took decades for their heroism to be recognised.

on a lighter note.. geesh paco, is there no place safe on this earth from your empire? i think obama should be worried about this ....

On the Vietnam front: who was giving the North all the ammunition? Not the French, not the USA. Red China. Does anyone bother to discuss these days the theorem that really, the N. Viets were proxies for China and that the way to defeat proxies (like Syria, Hezbollah, Hamas) is to behead the snake? Lack of political will is the same as running out of ammo entirely. One day the west must rediscover the fait accompli.
