A Very Cold Desert

I’ve now got more snow in my front yard than this place in Antarctica.

To the Paco clan...Keep your head down and powder dry, looks as though you'll be getting more.

Your link brought back memories from the Blair of classic content days, Mental Floss.

I do hope Robert is OK.

Don't fret, Sir Paco. Remember, all snow and ice will disappear from the face of the Earth within 5-7 years.

El: It made me think of commenter Mental Floss, too. I miss him.

Carol: I'm holding Al Gore to that!

Packers ole chum, why not just kit out your wife with a Pyrotechnic Applicator and Climate Optimizer and send her down the front walk...?

Richard: Hey, don't think I haven't considered it!

Umm, in that case Paco, my friend. You may need this.

OH, here you are able to find their ratings. ;)

Wow. Great pics! More than anything I've seen in recent memory, they make me appreciate how our little blue planet is just one of many sailing through vast, empty space. Mars terrain indeed.

I remember Mental Floss. He used to provide wonderful links, like this one.

Rebecca: They are, indeed, breathtaking photographs. I love desolate places, and that's one I'd like to visit (although it would be cheaper, I suppose, to go to Detroit).
