AllahPundit has the story of Obama's outrageous treatment of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu at the White House.
What a petulant, self-important, pipsqueak of a president this guy has turned out to be! It's always unpleasant to have to endure a bad president, but when he's a small man to boot, the situation is well-nigh intolerable.
I cited this quote before in the comments section a couple of weeks ago, but it deserves its own place in a post. In The Sting, there is a scene where Paul Newman says of the the gangster, played by Robert Shaw, "He made his first mistake the day he decided he was going to be somebody." That will make the perfect epitaph to the Obama presidency.
And on that glorious day in January of 2013 when they drag him kicking and screaming out of the White House, I hope I'll be there to thumb my nose at his sorry ass.
Update: More from Jonathan Tobin.

On its current trajectory, one is less than confident that the Administration completes its term intact.
ReplyDeleteThe departure could be the moment where the rhetoric shifts from "Bush did it" to "Palin did it".
I guess that's one advantage we have: our petulant, self-important, pipsqueak of a PM is a no-name on the world stage so we just cringe on the inside.
ReplyDeleteK
You know, K, Paco - anything said about either pipsqueak is appropriate to the other.
ReplyDeleteIt's spooky!
Obama is a size 13 ego in a size 3 soul.
ReplyDeleteEvery time this arrogant asshole (pardon my Anglo-Saxon) does or says something, I shrivel up in acute embarrassment for my country. There have been presidents I disliked, but there never was one, until now, that I regarded as an out and out enemy.
ReplyDeleteBut you know, the rest of the world that spent the last eight years dissin' Uncle and Bush probably has this coming.
ReplyDeleteGonna cost tho...
now that israel is no longer a friend of the united states and therefore not hampered by us, they can blow the hell out of their arab neighbours.
ReplyDeletei say go for it, guys
Right with you there, missred! Can YOU say "Osirak?"

If The Won is defeated in 2013 I just may go down to DC to see the Inauguration in person for the first time ever. Even if it's a Dem that wins.

I cannot tolerate that first class temperament. That is a good-for nothing-attitude. But i do not know why he acted that way. If the reason is extremely grave to justify that act, maybe it's understandable. However, his attitude is till unacceptable for a President.
