Curiously, I was in Brasil recently, and there is a town named after you there; also a hotel in Rio http://gobrazil.about.com/od/culturehistorylanguage/p/pacoimperial.htm although the cedilla makes the 'c' an 's'.
Ah, yes. My little Brazilian get-a-way...just in case.
Ann Miller was a great dancer and comic actress; her misfortune was that she generally worked with one of the smaller studios, so she didn't get as much exposure as other stars.
