"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteAnd I take it that Mabel, The Official Dog™, approves of this change?
Mabel is delighted. She looked upon the snow with great disdain.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I forgot to complement you on the fine job of camouflaging those anti-aircraft artillery positions. Why, one would think that there was never any such ordnance around your domicile.
ReplyDeleteAaaarrggghhhh! "Compliment", not "complement". That's what happens when one blogs when one should be sleeping.
ReplyDeleteWere you to discover that General Lee had ridden down your street on an occasion, would you then post a suitable sign "General Lee Shlepped Here"?
ReplyDeleteCheers
Captain: I may just post that sign regardless of historical accuracy!
ReplyDeleteI once saw a sign in N. Dakota - near the geographic centroid of the N. American continent - that read "Middle of nowhere, 5 miles"
ReplyDeleteCan't get over how green those lawns are, [o'k so I am jealous, having dead barren lawns here, due to lack of water], those photos are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGlad Mabel is happy, again.
My Mum and Dad spent two years in America nearly 40 years ago and still talk about it, Dad more so then Mum these days.
