I have to tell you, it was a tense standoff out there for a bit. You could see those SWAT youngsters eyeing our big purses and cardboard signs with the sweat rolling off them.
In all seriousness, I feel kind of sorry for the cops. Somebody high up issued an order, and they got trotted out in their paramilitary gear in front of a bunch of grannies so Obama could send a message, which I think was pretty clear and plenty scary: "I have the power, and you'll do as you're told, or else!"
Could this president and his handlers be any more hostile to, and fearful of, the American people?

This move was weapons grade stupid.
Yeah, Obama and his thugs would do worse. But it was nice of him to warn us that he could.
