Michelle Obama launches the biggest invasion of Spain since Tariq ibn-Ziyad

Mr. and Mrs. Obama have demonstrated, once again, that, in the great Dance of Statesmanship, they both have two left feet.

At almost the very moment that Michelle Obama is descending on Spain with her enormous entourage (which will take up 60 rooms at one of the most expensive hotels in the world), the State Department hit upon the great idea of posting a travel advisory for African-Americans:
Fox News reports that prior to the first lady's arrival, the State Department had issued a travel warning to Americans advising that "racist prejudices could lead to the arrest of Afro-Americans who travel to Spain." The wording was reportedly removed from the State Department website Monday, ahead of Michelle Obama's arrival in the country Wednesday.
Maybe her merry band includes a squad of diversity-trainers.

The State Dept is being politically correct, failing to observe that Spain has a legitimate problem with African illegals. No its all just some vague inexplicable 'racism', go tell it on the mountain, when will they ever learn, let's all feel smug.

Yeah, down with the sanctimonious Ruling Class!

These people and the little worms in the cubicles who follow their lead just scare the crap out of me. They are SO ignorant, so sanctimonious and so VERY SURE that it's likely they'll also get us all killed.

Or worse.

Afro-Americans? There's the problem! They obviously haven't seen Michelle's do.

Seriously though, with an entrouge like that there is no way anyone is getting close to "those" Americans. Sixty rooms?! Who's left at the White House? Wait...this could be a perfect time to....

Glad that they are showing how they are connected with/in touch with the American people.

Evidently the foreign press is just raking them over the coals for this trip. I heard that Drudge has a long article by the Daily Mail on how they have cordoned off a whole beach for the benefit of this party.

To be fair, I think Napoleon's Peninsular War might have been larger, though less expensive.

Brett: That's true.

Mr Bingly had a good one one that, too.

It's something else isn't it?

Mugabe's wife needed to buy designer shoes in Paris when she was able to on a rare UN permit.

But that's Leftists for you.

Pigs. Trough. Farmhouse.

We'll probably never know the true cost to the taxpayers.
