"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
God bless you all. Arizona has lost four brave souls in the last week over there. This is also Remembrance Day in Canada. A red poppy for all of you in the true north. Cheers.
Kae on her blog put up some beautiful poems yesterday for our Armistice Day, that could well be meant for here to."lest we forget" Amen.
Words are so inadequate to reflect the gratitude that we feel. Hopefully, the very expression of a sincere "thank you for your service" will impart what words can not. To all my fellow vets, American and Ally, thank you!The loss of a fellow American is painful, but the loss of any one of our allies is hurtful as well. God rest them all, and give comfort to their family and friends.Deborah Leigh
Let us always keep in our minds the sacrifices of those who came before us. Amen.Especially on this day which is practically a universal observance, I'm happy to discover.
