Around the world

Activist mother of murdered teen gunned down in Mexico.

Michael Moore’s commie propaganda is such b.s. that it’s even shunned by other commies.

Kosovo’s prime minister has been accused of leading a criminal gang that harvested organs of executed Serbian prisoners.

The UK Red Cross has banned Christmas (to avoid offending the usual offendees).

Next time, you might want to use a pick-up truck.

A French electrician has come forward with a fortune in heretofore unknown Picasso paintings - and is having a hell of a time explaining how they came into his possession.

More super-secret Jew weapons!

In their defence, it turns out that was an eight-year-old story reprinted for whatever reason.

Micheal Moore has taken enough abuse Paco lets lay off the genius

Hmmm ... I can only assume Paco that your mention of the Froggy sparkie is a brazen attempt to shift attention elsewhere. Generally when people suddently turn up large volumes of hitherto unknown and highly valuable art of dubious provenance I understand that the first place the Rozzers visit is the Picasso "art" Counterfeiting Organisation.

cac: I believe you mean to refer to the Picasso Art Copying Organization, a public-spirited company that is engaged in creating perfectly legitimate reproductions - which, alas, due to their extremely high quality, do sometimes fall into the hands of the ethically-challenged and occasionally get passed off on the unwary as originals. Most unfortunate.

I've been amused recently reading around the leftist literary websites in Australia - and let's face it, if you're an Australian interested in literature, it's pretty much a choice between a left-wing journal and another left-wing journal - to encounter this debate over the legacy of one Mr Guevara. One lefty blogger dares to criticise Che, and of course the counter-criticism comes flooding in.

The important point seems to be - Che killed. But did he kill - with love?

When the revolution comes, you'll be first against the wall, my darling ducky dove...

TimT: Thanks for that link to the Che back-and-forth. Once I publish the lost Bolivian-diary entries, I think that should clear up any questions about his real legacy.

I haven't installed censorship; I deleted my own comment because it was a duplicate of the one that preceded it.
