The next phase in Obama's war against individual freedom?

Regulation.

I suppose the big worry is that climate-altering gases will soon have us all looking like those straw-hatted characters in your picture.
People should not concern themselves too much. There are billions of people in warmer climes — including quite a few in Queensland — who look just like that. Our 50-y-o son is currently sporting a similar hairdo and he occasionally wears an identical hat.
You get used to it after awhile, and can even grow to love them.

Skeeter: Queensland. That's right next door to Capricornia, isn't it?

The Daily Mail reporter certainly scooped Brisbane's Courier Mail with that Capricornia story. This morning was the first anyone around here knew about it.
Of course, they have got it wrong yet again. I am reliably informed that Queensland's northern border remains where it has been for many years: about 2 miles south of the Papua New Guinea coast. We still own all the Torres Strait and the islands of Baigu, Kaumag and Saibai.
The Tropic of Capricorn runs across the southern part of Rockhampton, a regional city in the news at the moment due to an excess of unconstrained water.
That city, and its nearby seaside resort of Yeppoon, often refer to their tourist area as the Capricorn Coast.
This may have confused the Daily Mail reporter. Confused he certainly is, because he has mapped the southern border of "Capricornia" some 100 miles north of Rockhampton.
Perhaps the new state should be called Equatoria — although I prefer RebeccaH's suggested Unicornia.

Yeah, those bumbling bolsheviks know how to write a coherent regulation like they know how to write legislation to "reform" medical insurance. God help us all.

Excuse, I need to browse some ammunition sales....

At one time we needed a Constitution, but that is no longer, once The One arrived. It's totally Hegelian.
