Comment of the week

From Jim Treacher to President Obama: “Maybe you should ask one of the brainiacs on your staff to explain your approval ratings to you. Note: You’re not supposed to try for the lowest score possible. It’s not like golf.”

Update: I just don’t know how much more unprecedented super-smartness I can take from this administration:
To show her support for American workers, President Obama's labor secretary, Hilda Solis, has junked the standard black limo and purchased a new Chevrolet Equinox to ride around Washington in. The problem: the crossover SUV is built and assembled in Canada from parts also made in Canada.

    Jim Treacher would be correct about the golf scores if Obama kept score. We must keep in mind that everyone plays and everyone gets a trophy. Keeping score would only harm the self-esteem. Of course, Obama could use his self-esteem readjusted down a few pegs.

    Why isn't Hilda driving a fashionable electric car that the president is pushing? Perhaps she could get one of those two wheeled thingies. Isn't called a Transporter. Mall cops seem to like them.
