Were you disgusted with Jane Fonda before?

Prepare to be utterly revolted, now.

  1. Like I said on Twitter, I didn't think I could blog this without veering into serious contempt.

  2. You should have let yourself go, my dear fellow! What a delightful read it would have been.

  3. Oy. Jane Fonda is the Jimmy Carter of Hollywood. Never have I seen a person sink so low in order to achieve so little.

Makes me wonder what recent happenings in the White House go unreported.

    Well put.

  5. What "Right-wing billionaire" did Fonda take-up with? The only uber-rich guy I can think of is Red Ted and he ain't no right-wing guy. My only refret is that she didn't join Che at the end

  6. Yojimbo, Red Ted is probably a villain in the eyes of that British reporter because he's a rich American.

And probably because Red Ted bounced Jane Fonda out the door on her useless arse, with an iron clad pre-nuptial agreement, thereby forcing Jane Fonda -- Heroine of the Revolution and general all around worthless parasite -- to actually work for a living.

  7. If Jane Fonda hadn't been a movie star, people would have looked down on her as just another dumb bimbo who kept making bad choices in men. As it was, she used her money and her fame to do serious damage to American society. I have no sympathy for her.

  8. Jane thought if she and Hayden had a child, it would express solidarity with Vietnam. First, however, they decided to get married. The smell of pot was heavy in their living room as they exchanged vows.

The pot seems to be the most reasonable thing in this whole story. I'm not sure if I should feel contempt or feel sorry for her.

Bit of both I suppose. I just thank the Holy Mother of Kazan that I'm wasn't her father.

  9. Mikael: Sounds like a lovely ceremony, doesn't it?

  10. Disgusted with her before, yes.
    Now utterly revolted, yes.

    She's my "american presidential bellwether"
Not an American? But still want to know who you should be barracking for in US presidential elections?
But don't want to have to tediously brush up on US domestic politics?

Just find out who Jane Fonda is supporting & then support the other candidate.

    EASY!!

  11. Who would have guessed that I would ever agree with Tom Hayden about anything? ‘a rich person out of touch with reality’ pretty much sums it up if you add "thick as a brick".

Of course, she's not unlike a great many other 'performers' is she?

  12. She is now also revealed to be a total nutjob.
