"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
I always thought this was Sinatra's song. Gets me thinking that Sinatra probably owed something to Astaire in developing his mature style - clear enunciation with a wide open mouth, against the pursed lips crooning then current.
ReplyDeleteI like Astaire's singing, and Sinatra's, now I think there's a link.
I could swear I danced great last night, but the looks I got from Joe
ReplyDelete(in my case the beautiful Jennifer)
