"Where have all the showers gone?"
Mark Steyn notes the appearance among the occucriers of a genuine commiesaurus.
This proves, beyond all doubt, that the ancient hippies just want to relive their youth. I've little doubt that Mr. Seeger has a box of Viagra tucked into a pocket. Just in case.
The aggressive self-righteousness of the old American Left like Seeger bothers me. I've met a few in person and many on the 'net.
Was America ever as bad as they claimed, in any way? Even the Depression, the Dustbowl etc. All our ancestors picked themselves up from Ireland and Scotland and went to the New World. If it's so bad, just go back. No but it's worse back there, so count your blessings and work individually for better. Collectivism is just a form of blackmail robbery. Wickedness and should be a crime.
