Wouldn't it be better to arrest the OWS protesters?

Still, I suppose suing them is better than nothing.

  1. Some judges may be lenient on cop-bashing 'protesters', who use arrests to grandstand.

Being sued is more scary and likely to prevent attacks perhaps. Especially as the OWS attackers are organised into groups who openly encourage lawlessness.

But yes, let's bring back the days when people were scared from wrongdoing just by seeing the police. I thought New York had achieved that.

  2. Why not sue them? Apparently a whole lot of them have plenty of money, and if news reports are to be believed, the organization (and they are organized) has half a million dollars in the bank.

Get back some of our own and then arrest them.

  3. Until thoughts of action turn into action I won't be impressed. The Occupiers didn't have to consider action, they just did it. There should be a suit against the "suits" in power for dereliction of duty based on failure to enforce laws. Camping on the streets, drug dealing/using, prostitution, vandalism, etc are against the law! The so-called protestors can protest during daylight hours, but must be made to go home or whatever couch they reside on at night. The lawsuits should be from the business owners like Milk Cafe that are struggling due to loss of business. The employees who lost their jobs at places like Milk Cafe because of these parasites should get a class action going. I'm sure the Communist/Nazis/Hollyweirdos can afford to pay up. Pass the beret, comrades!

Hi Rebecca! Isn't it funny that they have half a million in a bank? Wonder which one?

BTW, thank you for the concern regarding the accident. I'm doing much better now thanks to the magical properties of extra strength Tylenol, Vicadin, and a muscle relaxer. Cheers! As I told Paco, I might ask for a refill.
