Separated at birth?

Smitty brings us the news that RINO senator, Lisa Murkowski, has endorsed Romney.

Is it just me, or does Murkowski always look like she's getting ready to sink her teeth into some hapless living prey?

  1. I think she's a Romulan in disguise.

But your explanation is simpler: she's related to the The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms!

  4. That's right! He was the sharpshooter toward the end of the movie who shot the dinosaur with some kind of radio-isotope, as I recall.

  9. Maybe Lee van Cleef made a mistake and hit Cecil the Seasick Sea Serpent by mistake.

I remember reading a little article called "A Stress Analysis of a Strapless Evening Gown." It was very, um, scientifically analytical. Fortunately, there was very little math.

In another article in the same collection, "On the Nature of Mathematical Proofs" the author remarked: "Given a sufficient quantity of physical data, the most desireable mathematical model is undoubtedly 36-24-36. De gustibus non disputandem est."

It's hard to believe, but a book containing such important scientific insights is out of print. Here is the url of the Amazon page for it anyway. It may interest the more technically inclined among the Paconistas.
