Democrats don’t give a rodent’s gluteus maximus about civility

But getting Rush Limbaugh off the air, that would be something to get excited about.

Don’t believe it’s gonna happen, Libs; in fact, you might be setting yourselves up for some nice backlash. Nice try, though. Oh, and in case I need to make my position more explicit: I support Rush Limbaugh, his program and the great service he has performed, and will continue to perform, for American conservatism. And, not that it was needed, but Obama’s attempt to manipulate the Limbaugh/Fluke controversy for his own political advantage has given me another reason to vote against the Incredible Shrinking President in November.

Update: As usual, when there’s a bad smell in the air, you can be sure that the liberal fascists from Center for American Progress have been in the neighborhood. For some interesting background on Obama’s favorite “think tank”, see here and here. Look for their brand; these are the people who are helping Obama to “transform” America.

  1. There's some interesting information about one sponsor that withdrew it's advertising and saw its stocks plummet.

Correlation is not causation, of course, but it's still an interesting coincidence. At the least.

And the HA update is interesting -- Rush didn't lose sponsors, they "...are actually local advertisers who simply requested that their commercials not run during Rush’s show."

Once again: do not trust the Lame Stream Media.

  2. Deborah Leigh said...These cowards are finding that boycotts cut both ways. Conservatives are doing a Carbonite on the other ones. Easter, and Mother's Day are coming. Hopefully, Telefloral or the local shops will see business bloom while ProFlowers whilts. Maybe it is time for Freedom Floral. The stations that dropped Rush need to lose out too.

Businesses don't advertise because they agree with the program. There are always disclaimers on stations. Even some blogs are made to carry ads that don't fall in line with the blog. No choice. Business is bottom line, not emotion. There should be a separation clause.

  3. I would never use ProFlowers for two reasons: first - their product is crap, the flowers never lasted more than a couple of days; second - last time I used them, I unknowingly got signed up for some service that took $12 a month and it took 3 months before they finally stopped taking my money. disgraceful business practice.
