Chick-Fil-A: not acceptable.
Anti-Semitic vigilantes: Welcome!
As indicated above, the City of the Big Shoulders is turning a cold one toward the Chick-Fil-A franchise.
Hey, you don’t want to eat there, that’s perfectly ok. But here’s a friendly warning to restaurant patrons in Chicago: just be careful where you do chow down, particularly if you’re a “progressive”.
Update: The Daily Caller declares the Chick-Fil-A war over.
Update: Mayor Thomas Menino of Boston went so far as to threaten to block a building permit for Chick-Fil-A, although he has now backed off. Here's a picture of hizzoner...
Guy looks like something from a Nast cartoon about Tammany Hall.
Here's another photo of Thomas Menino, rastaman:
"That boy, I say, that boy's lower than a snake full of buckshot. Buckshot, that is."

By "Chicago Values", I assume that you mean "The Chicago Way".
ReplyDeleteThe difference, of course, is Louis Farrakhan's vocal support for gays and gay marriage means that he can be forgiven when he says impolite things like accusing jews of causing the holocaust or that saying white people are potential humans. In fact, I'll post links to his full throated support of gay… uh, nevermind.
ReplyDeleteM'yes, that support looks a little scarce, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteI visited a Chik-Fil-A on my way home from Bowling Green today. Oddly, there was no large hord of gay activists outside, protesting. I was a bit disappointed.
ReplyDeleteI did, however, visit the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green. Good timing on my part, as I got to see the newest Corvette model, just announced.
Visit my blog to read my exclusive report, and see a picture of it.
Dude! I didn't know you had a blog. I'll add it to my blog roll.
ReplyDeleteThe National Corvette Museum is on my list of "100 places to visit before I die".
That's odd. I announced it first, here on Paco Enterprises, shortly after I started it. As you can see, it's not much of a blog, kind of hit & miss.
ReplyDeleteMostly miss.
BTW, I'm not a big Corvette fan, I prefer small, light two seaters, like my brother's '67 Alfa Duetto. Still, there was one there that impressed me. A 2012 Calloway convertible, black, menacing, and doing about 150 just sitting there.
I am deeply mortified not to have remembered. My apologies.
ReplyDeleteDeborah Leigh said...August 1st is the supposed "Kiss In" by the Gays. Okay. So let's grab our other sex partners and head out for some fun, great chicken sandwiches and waffle fries!
ReplyDeleteThe man and all who support him have been label anti-Gay. Wrong. No Gays have been harmed by CF. But all it takes is the disagreement with the Gay life style and marriage. So if you don't goose step to the Lefty march, you shall be derided.
Rinardman, I didn't know you had a blog! Publicity, dude, publicity.
Publicity, dude, publicity.
ReplyDeleteYes, I avoid it, every chance I get. With publicity, expectations rise. I like to keep expectations low on my blog.
BTW, I should clarify. There was one gay person at the Chik-Fil-A yesterday. My sister, who was with me. But, she's just a normal person who happens to be gay. Not a "look at me, accept me, or die" kind of gay.
You could paint a big red smile on Menino's face, put an orange wig on his head, and set him in front of MacDonald's. Nobody would ever know.
